Hello Jesse, doing things as you see fit is like a ship in the middle of the ocean and not knowing where you are going , you have to have something even if is simple that you are going to accomplish every day it keeps you in check and you might not finish it but you try and move what you did not get to the next day. if you write it you will do it and will keep you in track.great question Jesse have a great end of month

I have a very strict schedule everyday, and planned out with my To-Do Lists and Appointments, Meetings, always Prepared for the next morning, is critical for me to stick to for my continued success in running my Business. Routine is Critical. Some things to come up though to go with it as I see fit during the process of emergency or unexpected dilemmas. Focus is key always. Staying Focused.

Good question. I do have specific tasks I do everyday... but no specific time.

Frame work begins with objectives established by the business plan.
The plan creates the checklist accounting for the tasks.
Each morning I look at the check list and from it create my '"To Don't" list.
Then life happens.

Hi Jesse how are you today?
Great question for time management. As far as my experience goes, I like planning out my week ahead of time. This depends on what kinds of commitments I have for that week. I try to arrange my work by area, and since there is heavy traffic on weekdays between the hours of 3-7 (SF BAY AREA) I like to divide my day into two parts if possible, atteding to the morning appointments from 8-12 and then the afternoon 1-6. It also depends on the activity I am doing for that day. Showing appointments can run over the time allocated for them. Signing appointments are usually more timely. No shows happen sometimes, or delays in traffic.................Likewise appraisals or inspections are time specific. In this business one must be flexible................go with the flow since other factors can cause delays......................traffic being the biggest offende rthis is true
especially in the areas I operate. How do you go about it?

Other than firm appointments for showings, signings, calls or meetings I have found a strict schedule doesn't work for me. I have my Must Do list and get that done first thing except when interruptions delay it. I finish my Must Do's and if there is time move on to my regular To Do list.

I learned a long time ago to make my list of what I have to get accomplished and do it first. The next group of activites are things I want to do and the last are things that I will do when I have time. I plan lots of flex time in my day and use every bit of it. I want to be able to handle a last minute client that calls and needs my services.

I do have a list of things I want to accomplish during the day and follow a prospecting and follow up schedule, but I do leave some room for unexpected changes.

Time management is critical in the real estate business. You should have you day broken down in 30 minute time sections. Your prospecting activities should be during the first 4 hours of your day.

Thanks for asking this. I am subscribing to the answers. I personally always have a schedule that allows for wiggle room. Other agents I work with vary, so time management is always a good topic to have with them.
Have a great week!

I work from a list of daily goals. Sometimes I have to move things around time wise so I can not commit to a specific schedule. As long as my daily goals get accomplished I am happy.

I usually have 2-3 must do's, but then like to leave the rest of the day flexible to be open to new opportunity, get ahead in some areas, or just relax.
