My preference has always to work during the day at the office while having a home office for evenings and weekends. A professional office makes a good impression on prospects.

I DO! .... partially at least....whenever I can. Although it requires intentional discipline, I don't mind it.

When I first started working from home...like anything else it was a challenge. I would 'plop' down in front of the tv with my laptop & at the end of the day wonder why I didn't accomplish as much as I had hoped. ...DUH! Obviously the tv distracted me, but I was in denial.

Thankfully. ..I made the decision early on to remain in my designated working space while ' working.'

We each have a home office

Pretty much in SW Florida most work from home.  Offices are getting smaller and brokers are encouraging agents to work from home.  Cost saving.

I prefer to work from home, where I can control the distractions. But I also value the camaraderie of our office and will stop in a couple of times a week.

Huge 1st ground high rise, almost most agents work out of their house, McDonalds, cars.  Office has a scanner and is the place to pick up your cheque.

Yes I do and after reading through others' responses I am feeling better about it. With my prior broker I was in the office every day for long hours - it was the way I worked. At times I very much miss the camaraderie of those days, and admit to feeling lonely in my home space. But I see that most are doing the same, so I will link more with my Active Rain network to shake the lonely blues away ;-)

I am a Broker/owner in a small town, my office and home are combined , it works out just fine . 

Camera - Yes I do work from home, and love it. I do have an office available to me if I need to meet clients or my broker for anything. I can also go there for training, etc., but prefer working from home. I too work from restaurants, my car, and just about anywhere, as William said.

I do planning from home and I do art from home, but I have my missions as my Grandma Rose would say! :)

Yes, like William Feela it is where ever - especially any one of the Dubnking Donuts in the area.  The staff in four of five know me as the medium coffee with cream and coffee cake muffin man.  Some day they even have it waiting for me at the counter by the time I reach there.

Not as much as I would like. Part of that is Internet. Mine is terrible lol
