I admire home inspectors that take their business seriously and invest in an electronic key. The ones that don't always make me think that maybe they don't plan on being around long.

yes i do , and i believe all homes should only have electronic boxes no exceptions

You mean to open lockboxes? Heavens yes.  If they are in the real estate business it would be silly not to act like it.  Who would take you serious?

NO, becuase i want to be there when the inspector is there to see what he sees and get a first hand knowledge. i dont want them in my listings alone. 

Absolutely.... I have a list of things I expect my inspectors to be able to "deliver" and having an electronic key is one of them.

Yes, I do.  Inspectors cannot always rely on agents to open doors for them even if these agents may or may not stop by during the inspection.

Hi Adrian -- It's not particularly common in my market for an inspector to have an electronic key.  

When the appraiser has a key, it certainly save the listing agent time.

I do.  I just had to drive an hour round trip twice this past week to let in an inspector who does not have a Supra key.  

It would be nice if they do.

no....it's the agent's job to make sure the inspector has access and an agent is on site at all times during the inspection.... let's not lose focus on what our job is a listing agent or a buyer's agent....
