Jack Lewitz A "Just Curious" call is a cold lead, but it is a lead. I ask if I can have their email and follow up with them. If yes, I immediately send them an email thanking them for the call. It is also an opportunity to see if it is a valid email address. If no email address or invalid, no follow up.

To me it means that they are window shopping or that they want a change and do not know what that is. I answer everyone anyway. The more clients we talk to the more deals we close. People know people you know?

That they are kicking tires, in todays tech age we live in, many sellers will "interview" several agents. Pump them for as much information they can, like list price, value, market trends, etc. Then turn around and list it themselves. It happens.

There is a reason that they are curious....and it could turn out to be bogus...or not...but if you don't call, you'll never know !

"Hello Just Curious,
I'm just like you, I am often 'just looking' but in reality I am looking for information. It is very likely you are looking for more information regarding getting ready to buy or sell real estate. You can find lots of great guides on Remax.com.
"However, the most important question citizens have is 'How much is it worth?' My CIS Score calculator, an online resource, which has proven to have 4% accuracy for homes sold in Palm Harbor Florida. Whether buying or selling the CIS Score calculator has proven to be incredibly accurate. Give me a call so I can set up your account and give brief instruction on the CIS SCORE use."
Then I put them on a 700 year drip campaign with an occasional local event message.

Jack Lewitz if they are 'just curious' - they surely will be ready soon. Sometimes in a month. So have them in your drip campaign before someone else list them!

I follow up like Evelyn Epperson does. You never know when you'll find someone ready to buy/sell.

Maybe send them a witty email saying "Just curious" if I might help you with your real state needs? That's what I plan to start doing. I've set some of them up on email campaigns with no results.
