Yes, several times. The reasons are all over the board. High fees, nepotism, and personality conflicts.

I have changed firms several times.  Most of the times I changed because of the time versus the money.  My first Broker was taking too much plus taking advantage of my time.  I went to work for another Brokerage and they could not getting billing correct.  I love the Broker I am with now.  They do what they say and pay very well.

Yes, twice.  The first time I had no clue what I was doing, and started with the first company that I talked with.  I stayed a year.  The second time was just a few months ago :)  I left a large office for the opportunity to help start a smaller office.  I am a control-freak, so it works out nicely ;)

In my first few years as a sales agent, I changed firms a number of times. Once I secured my broker's license, I have happily built my business as an independant broker.

I've managed for decades, and I've changed three times.... each change was to an office that needed guidance....I always selected the lowest office on the charts...and they all became #1 before I moved.... the rest was up to the broker/owner to maintain it.... I'm all done moving now.

Hi Holleay - so far once.  About two and one half years in, I made a switch to an office with a greater market presence.   In May it will be 19 years since I made that move.

Yes, work for a brokerage with maximum split and have an attorney-broker give you consultation.  No desk fee, no printer charge. Not a small mom pop shop. Plush office. This brokerage has just 6700 agents in west coast

The most important home I sell is YOURS!

Twice.  Started out with a mom and pop shop.  Learned a lot.  I spent two years there, then went to a local brokerage that was bigger.  One day, the broker came in and said he was shutting the doors.  I walked across the parking lot to RE/MAX and have been there 19 years.  Best. Move. Ever.

Yes, I started out at a big box brokerage with high fees. Soon after, the market turned down and I changed to an independent broker.  It was a good move.

Numerous times. Usually because of management changes and/or nepotism. Once because they promised me the world and delivered nothing.

Yes 4 times.  The first time because the owner had nepotism all over the place.  Second one was because of a name change that I had no control of.  Third one was another name change and now I'm with number 4.  Who knows I may do it again.  this next week should tell
