Yes there are but getting to be fewer and fewer. So many are seeing it easier to take shortcuts and cheat than to earn it the old fashion way by lots of hard work. Sad but true.

It is hard but I stay with smaller banks and have had great success.  Bigger isn't always better.

Yes, there are lots of honest people left and probably not more cheaters as in times past. I agree with Ron and Alexandra Seigel that honest people just don't get the publicity. Cheaters have always been common at all economic levels. Fortunately so have honest people!

Not so long ago a professor surveyed a big population of both adult and typical students at the college. 'How will your become wealthy?" was the question.

Overwhelmingly the responses were:

Lottery

Law suit

Not create something, not finding a solution, not becoming a master of a craft or trade.

When eyes are focused on the easy way, the outcome is easy to predict.

Those who toil silently through the night, driven by a greater purpose, they are a rare breed. Acknowledge the real estate professional to the left and to your right.

Meanwhile we are up to our earlobes with the champions of deception like Zillow Group. It is hard to stay clean.

Yes, there are!  And I respectfully disagree with Andy Madrid that all people of great wealth have been dishonest to some degree.  What did Frank Sinatra do to the American people?  Some banks have not ventured in the type of operations you describe and walked the straight and narrow.  The honest ones don't get press and the "tsk, tsk, tsk" of those who are watching this type of stuff. People have different priority in life and in this world, money has become the most important thing!

As many stories you hear about dishonesty, the same number of stories are happening for honesty - except that it may not ever become public!

It's how we look at it - the glass half full or half empty. And I see it as half full - and getting filled more!

Yes, there are.  This is a beautiful planet with beautiful, loving, caring, and honest people.  The more I believe that and focus on that the more of those people I attract into my world.  We need to be more discerning.

I do believe there are.  Getting harder to find though.

Yes there are!  I am always honest because it is the best policy.  I am very respected because I am very honest with my broker, buyers & sellers.

I am pretty cynical - I just figure that if a person has amassed great wealth and power - they cheated someone, found some loophole, or earned off the backs of the American people.  Look at each of the parties leaders, presidential nominees, etc.  They are all crooked.

I understand your frustration, but my advice is to think about this for a bit:

Since our world becomes what we CHOOSE to think about...

When you attempt to rid the world of what you don't like or what you disagree with, by noticing it, talking about it, posting about it...all you are doing is drawing more of that which is LIKE what you DON'T want to you.

I assure you, there are plenty of honest people in the world...the world is FULL to the brim of good people.

But when you rail against the dishonest, you cannot see those that are honest!  They cannot find their way to your door...

There will always be two sides to EVERY story: there is that which is wanted, (the honest ones) and the LACK of that which is wanted (the dishonest ones)...

All you have to do is spend more time noticing the HONEST ones, and more honest ones will make their way into your life.

Seriously. It's that simple. 

I have clients that are magnificent people. Truly stellar. Do you know why? It's because I intend, every morning, to draw those that are wonderful into my life. I want the best people for my clients.

And I have the best. clients. ever.

There will always be those that are dishonest. But we don't have to draw them into our experience. The choice is ours. And I choose magnificent, wonderful, honest, caring, salt of the earth clients...and that is my experience.
