I've used the ones from Realbird, and like them.  But more then me, the Seller likes them.  And the URL is the most important.  For example, I can use MonarchBeachHome.com forever.  When a listing sells, the property gets replaced on the website with a new listing, and the past postcards and other marketing material that contains the URL never becomes obsolete.  Consumers will always find a property for sale, even years from now, if they see an older marketing piece and visit the website.

Should you use websites to support your marketing goals based on single property activity (listed/sold). you bet and the URL IS important.

I have done for years, Chris. First of all, sellers love, love, love having their own website--so it's a selling point on a listing presentation. Second, I can do a very comprehensive website on my properties with information I can't always include in MLS, realtor.com, zillow, etc., where I can't control all of the information that shows up. Third, I use it as an on-line marketing brochure whenever someone calls or emails me for more information on a property. I can respond almost instantantaneously to a query, which is important these day.

The URL name may matter - I prefer the street address name.

I just used one. Ihe url doesn't really matter, it is meant to take people directly to a certain listing.

No; William Feela has it right. Syndication to select sites works jsut fine for us.

No...The MLS puts it on every MLS Professional Companies sties.   I don't use anything but PROFESSIONAL sites otherwise it dilutes myself as a professional.

I have a title company that does them for me.  There is also a mortgage company in our area that does it.  I do not think they are around long enough to matter

Yes I use them and yes the URL does matter to me. It's not only an easy way to find the site in these cases, but homeowners absolutely love it and for $10 for a URL it's an investment I am more than willing to make.
