I never do anything related to religious holidays.  I even avoid holiday cards.  These can be easily misinterpretted and/or send the wrong messages.

For past customers, yes, we do send out some automatic cards.  1 yr annivesary happy birthday to their floors and often 2-4 cards per year (automatic) that talk about referring a friend as well as flooring advice.  I just sent out a card to a bunch w/ a carpet cleaning coupon.

I have my asst help w/ some of this stuff and we do campaigns that are sent out automatically.

Not for Easter.....I have a lot of clients who celebrate Passover or their Easter not this Sunday.

the entire town gets a postcard every month from one team member or another... plus postcards in between for status change of each of our listings....that's more than enough "staying in touch" communication!!

I don't make Easter calls nor do I send out greeting cards or emails.  Though, I do stay in touch regularly with periodic calls and emails.

Calling and stopping by after the sale with a closing gift. Also, emails to check up on their overall continued satisfaction with their new home. Often, if there is a problem, it is minor that I can get done for them at a very competitive price.
