Hi Roger D. Mucci , I was a pre-med student and researched and studied advanced cellular pathology. I would be an Oncologist. For reasons I won't get into, I didn't finish my studies but it remains one of my biggest regrets in life. 

Well, if it were legal, I'd be a Madam since it is very similar to what I used to do (Place office support staff)  That said, and because I do not like the color orange, I'd like to be Diane Sawyer or a dermatologist. 

I would love to do missionary work either in the Dominican Republic or even here in the U.S.  I have been on mission trips in the Dominican Republic and I love it there.  They lead such a simple life compared to us.  In actuality, they actually have more than we do because they have less.  I enjoyed working with Children in an orphanage over there and would do it because it is rewarding in a better way besides money.

I'd be a home stager/interior designer. I have a good eye and for me putting things together like that is fun.

Before I got into real estate, I was a symphony orchestra musician and theater orchestra conductor. That's about as different from selling homes as you can get. It would be fun to get back into the music profession in some way, but I doubt that will happen. Music is an exciting and rewarding profession, but it can sometimes be a mediocre way to make a living.

if we're having fun here... I would be a rock n roll band entitled 'old gals rock.'

I think Photographer would be one of my top choices. Lots of flexibilty and opportunities to photograpgh a huge amount of scenes and people.

I'd be an attorney for sure.  It would give me great personal satisfaction to prosecute those who willingly and knowingly screw over innocent people who trusted the person who screwed them over.

I am so grateful that so many of you are considering creative outlets for yourselves, while others are saving the planet or animals.  If we all wanted the same thing, living here would be boring.  It's the passion about something that sets the fire and keeps it burning.  One simply MUST express the highest good, lest we fail to grow and understand why we came to the planet.

@ William Johnson - You even LOOK like an oncologist!  LOL  Perhaps there is still room in your life to add value in this way to mankind.

As for me - Let's seeeee.... Things I've already done in life:
  -  Sang opera and other classical music
  -  Played a number of instruments
  -  Performed in roles in historical film documentaries here in the US
  -  Represent various historical eras in historical costume (still do this)
All these are the "creative" outlets that make life enjoyable.  I do this in addition to the real estate.

As to income producing ventures:
  -  Banking (eeeelch!)
  -  Mortgage banking (more interesting)
  -  Technology (I.T. - loved it.)
  -  Marketing (Loved this even more)
  -  Real Estate, in various types of positions.

In the end, I realize my need for high personal interaction with humans.  I am one that cannot get stuck at home for long periods of time - I get cabin fever.  I have high energy and need an outlet to allow my froth to bubble over and bring happiness to many. (I'm winking here.)

That said, I've decided that with my "spoils of war" from my commissions, I am going to purchase or build a B&B/Inn.  Just think:  It'll be like a perpetual weekend Open House with people coming to visit from all over, enjoying a historical mansion.  My real estate would come into play, as would my mortgage banking experience, certainly marketing. even historical attire!  Please pray for me or hold my wish in thought so it manifests more quickly.  Then you can come and stay with us!!!

My husband and I are really looking forward to the next chapter in our lives where our talents can be more fully expressed.  I wish the same for you.  May you too, have "expanded territory" and realize your potential.

I think I would travel around the world making documentary films. Then I would open a horse rescue.

Now you have me thinking. I recently turned down an appraisers position with the county. I would probably do that. With my BPO experience I could rock at that job and it would be nine to five with holidays and weekends off. Sh@#...what was I thinking. 

I would like to teach. Adults or young folks who have the mind of adults but without the damage.

I would teach about the question we ask ourselves, "Who do you think you are?"....and the hypothesis that "love/success is not a victory march....but a broken hallelujah."

Athlete.  I love playing sports, love competition, love training to get better.  Those monster paychecks wouldn't hurt, either.

I love to cook for other people!  I think I would enjoy having a cafe or small restaurant.  Of course, I like to cook for others because if I keep the food I EAT IT ALL!!!!

I've been the teacher, the photojournalist for AP and even an amateur novelist but I would trade all that in to be a full time mother and devoted wife to my husband. Women take that for granted everyday and complain about being a stay home wife or hate their husbands for some stupid reason. Don't do it because someone told you had to do it..... Do it because you love that person. Well, working 50+ hours a week and not having anything to show for it when I come home to an empty house can be quite depressing sometimes too. It's just stuff! I admired my grandmother raising me. Losing my own mother at the tender age of  5 made growing up unbearable sometimes, but the unconditional love from my grandmother/grandfather made my passion for life much more enjoyable. And I show that love everyday in real estate. Helping people. The clients that you keep in touch with can sometimes turn into honorary family. It's quite rewarding!

Great question! I think about what I am going to do next all the time. I have always wanted to be a great photographer, an exercise and nutrition specialist, a forensics expert, a lawyer, own a bakery, cook really great food in a small restaurant that I would also own, a doctor (but I pass out at the sight of a needle). I am serious. I have often thought about pursuing each of those and continually come up with new professions to consider. I love to learn!

Before real estate I was involved in process re-engineering and consulting  Would love a project working in healthcare environment  where the work involved improving care but reducing waste - perhaps totally re engineering the way the health care system works - that would keep me busy!

I have been a home inspector for the last 14-15 years. Prior to that I was a construction project manager/engineer on overseas projects. I would go back to that in a heart beat. Only left because of a mandatory retirement. Frankly I loved the work, the many cultures you meet  and the variety of solutions to problems you find from a diverse work group. Being an expat is great too!

I used to think being a lawyer would be fun but way to much reading. LOL  Maybe a professional poker player but that involves too much sitting.   

A politician. There is so much corruption and pandering by politicians and nobody has the courage to expose them because they want to be re-elected regardless of the costs or consequences of their actions.

I would only serve two terms and fight to enact laws for two term limits and ban ex officials from lobbying after their terms expire for 6 years. Tough, straight forward answers to questions without any bloviating and fearless. 

My challenge is that with that platform, the leaders of both major parties wouldn't support my philosophy, would you? It's a simple yes or no answer.

Between my last career and this one, I took two years sabatical and designed my own line of garden art, including fountains, gargoyles, and renaissance style planters.   If money was no object, I'd return to art.

The grass is always greener on the other side.  Teach history, write, design strategy games (not computer or video).

I'd be a forensic scientist. I love the fact that today's technology allows for breakthroughs in solving murders to help bring closure to victims families.

Presently, I am a wildlife biologist, artist, music and dance teacher and a B&B owner. Asking myself that very question, I recently started a home staging and interior design business. I think I have just about everything I ever wanted to do covered!

I always wished I had studied to be a chef. I remember my Dad had a doctor friend, a surgeon. Dad asked him why he chose medicine. He said he realized when he was young that he hated working so as long as he had to do it he would do something that paid really well. That always made sense to me, maybe I should have gone into law or medicine.

I was a professional dancer in my previouse career and I enjoy playing tennis. If I could go back in time I would enjoy the challage of trying to make a living as a pro tennis player and travel the world. But at this point in my life I see nothing that I would want to do other than list and sell real estate in Orlando Florida. I don't see anything anyone else is doing that I would want to do. Love what you do and you will never work a day in your life.

I'd be an archeologist. I've seen them at work when we spent a couple mos. in the Bahamas last Summer. They were looking for old Indian artifacts on the island of San Salvador. It looked like a very interesting job!

Just like any other kid I had major league baseball dreams.  I had minor league talent and was prone to injury, wasn't meant to be.

I enjoyed a military career until it was cut short by injury. A manager in govt was fine but early retirement finer. Real estate because I enjoy it ~~~ but wondering how much longer I'll continue. The NC coastal winters,, thinking maybe a coastal Belize winters will have better fishing....

Well Roger, your question is pretty timely. As a matter of fact I'm about to jump into the wicked, wild and wet World of CAR WASH ownership. I'll be attending the annual Car Wasn Show in Las Vegas next week for 4 days where I'm hoping to get a little learnin in. 

A very old high school friend just bought a National Car Wash Franchise and is planning to add a couple thousand more locations Nationwide. It's an exiting and new concept and I've been looking for a way to generate passive income so here I go jumping into a brand new career at 69. 

Oh well, Warren Buffet's in his 80's and still rockin and rollin. Not to mention T Boone Pickins who didn't make his first billion till he was in his 80's. Then there was the Colonal who became a billionaire in his 90's and clucked all the way to the bank.

Besides that with 5 kids and 14 Grandkids who in the Hell can ever afford to retire. LOL!! Great Question!
