I never run out. There are always ideas in my drafts and just reading other members blogs gives me more ideas for a blog. Taking my camera out for a few photos also produces ideas and market reports and neighborhood updates are always needing to be done. Then of course local events and happenings need to be talked about too. The problem is finding the time to write.

Thank you for the answers AR followers! The general consensus is that I'm crazy! Just kidding! Its that you should never run out of topics to write about! Thank you for ideas to get topics!

Run out of topics? I didn't think that was possible. So many things to write about I have a list of about 50 I have to get to.

There are so many ways to get inspired to write a post.  The best examples I can think of are reading other's posts (not just on AR), going through your photos or a site like Pinterest, writing down some of the experiences you've had over the years... things you've learned along the way.

Quite simply.  I don't.  When I don't blog it's because I don't feel like writing, not because I have nothing to write about.

I keep a written log of "blog topics".  I follow all the local towns and many local businesses/people on twitter to keep on top of current events/happenings that I could blog about.  I can always blog about a random loan program/niche, market updates, articles I read, industry changes, hyperlocal stuff like good restaurants I visit or fun local things I do.  There's definitely no shortage of topics.  Sometimes I just have a shortage of time and/or motivation.

I write down ideas for blog topics as I think of them, in a spreadsheet, so I don't forget.  Often I will answer FAQs that I get from customers.  My most popular blog post is an FAQ for a common question.

Chris Mamone - it does not happen! Just browse the daily drop or any topic's recent post and you'll have something that you want to write about.

I have about 13 topics on which I want to write - and they are all saved in a document (and I update it when I think of something new.)

Hi Chris --

Here are six(lots more):

Read other members' posts and comments -- I find they are most inspirational.

Review your own posts -- maybe it can be updated.

Photos -- look at the photos you have or take new ones and see what develops

Review your schedule for the day or for the week -- there must be something that happened that could generate an idea for a post.

Write about nothing --- you know a kinda Seinfeldian approach to blogging for an AR example of this method see Roger D. Mucci .

Take a current event, something in the news or a topic that relates to your industry/interests and give your perspective.

If you have a supply of photographs you will never run out of blog topics. There is no shortage of blog ideas if you read lots of blogs and comments.

Every transaction has stories to tell.

I read - articles, blogs, market updates, etc. Usually the new content helps to spur my thought process. And...sometimes, I just don;'t blog for awhile.
