Praful Thakkar -- I can see by your Ambassador's Badge and your points score that you are quite a PRO. I have followed you for a long time.

What has been highly recommended is the IMSD (Internet Marketing Specialist Designation) program by Ben Kinney.

Yes! You can get lots of leads being social on social media. Just go read some of the posts and make the decision to jump in! If you need help ask questions here on AR and you will get answers.

Yes I believe it would. The entire course has changed quite a bit in the last few years.

I too am an ePro too. If we passed the test once I see no need in taking the class over.

I have to say you cant become a oro by taking a class, you can learn more by doing it everyday, AR is a great platform to practice and i have to say i learn more new things and tricks of the trade form the people here than i did in any class.

I am pretty technically advanced (built e-commerce websites, .NET developer, systems analyst, etc) and was thinking about taking the e-Pro designation as well. Sometimes I feel as if you may get a couple of tips that may improve one segment of your internet marketing campaign drastically.
There is no ongoing yearly fee correct?

Window XP was still around.
Internet Explorer was still a viable browser.
'iPhone' was just an idea getting it's legs.
In 10 years the VHS tape is finding it more difficult to find a player.
Computers lost there ability to play CDs, 50% of web traffic originates from hand held devices.
Any technology, 10 years old, only has a place in government offices.
In the real world, principles remain the same but technology is like putting your foot in the river. You can only put for foot in the same river one time.
The idea you must embrace it there is not right or wrong way, only the way you find that works for you.

Along with 1000s of blogs on AR about this subject take a look at AR university under resources, there is a ton of info for you.

When e-pro first came out it was pretty basic. technology has improved, and hopefully e=pro has tried to improve with it. I have seen agents with e-pro desigination that have very limited technical skills. I doubt having e-pro on your business card impresses the general public.

IF you are looking for more updated info, I agree that AR has what you need. I found that when taking the class those that were teaching it had very little web presence. Not much to offer. AR is a better use of time.

John Mosier - thanks a lot, really appreciate it.
I just feel AR is the place where we learn EVERYTHING related to our business.

John Mosier - I also took ePro 2.0 few years ago.
You can do the same for additional designation sake.
I feel I learn lot more over here with my AR designation!

Pete X with X Group Real Estate Advocates, Huntington Beach, CA 714.459.2017 OCLister.com and Laura Allen, Lake Tahoe - Truckee Real Estate for Sale www.TahoeLauraLuxuryHomes.com -- I attended a Raincamp session where Ben Kenney was the featured speaker. It was very informative but I did not find time then to implement his teaching. Thanks to both of you. I will likely do the IMSD training.
My only regret from the Raincamp was that I got suckered into Market Leader.
Market Leader is about to be history for me.

John Mosier - I too took the ePro class about 10 years ago too and I think you have better options. I've agree with Pete X with X Group Real Estate Advocates, Huntington Beach, CA 714.459.2017 OCLister.com , the IMSD classes are great. There was a promotion about 18months ago $99 and you had access to all of their past webinars for the year. I purchased that offer, and it was well worth it. They answered a lot of questions. You should check it out!

I'm sure if you took it again, you will learn a bit more than the first time.
