From time-to-time, yes

sometimes, yes.  Often this can be a bit less time consuming.  I've been trying to help a few people, especially some of the newer members.

Of course - questions take far less time and allow me to still relate to others.

I actually split 50/50 Kathy. So I guess the answer is yes I am spending more time on Q&A then before...

Hi Kathy -- "more" as in an increase in the time spent here versus previously, then yes.   "More" in the context fo actual time spent versus reading and commenting on posts, then no.     

As others have commented -- Q/A can be quicker.  Cindy Davis had a great answer -- it's an easy and quick way to relate to other members.

Funny you ask that - just today I decided to spend more time in the Q&A area!  Only because at times I don't have the time to read and consider an entire post.

Q & A is very helpful.  It's like the peanut butter to go along with the jelly!  Need both for a tasty snack!! Gotta throw videos in there as well (the bread) for the complete meal!

I've only just discovered the Q & A page.  I find it a fun place to hang now and then, but never instead of my regular post reading and commenting!

I tend to drift over hear on occasion, but certainly not more the reading the posts on AR Kathy.

I hit the Q&A section first then on to the blogs.  

Not really... the good thing about the questions, Kathy, is that they are typically short and sweet and don't require a ton of time to get through and many answers don't need a lot of words, either.

Yes, sometimes.  I am also surprised how people blog about very narrow topics like their neighborhood real estate.  Come on people no one cares about your neighborhood.  Talk about something we all can use

Kathy Streib I'd say, I spend additional time because of Q&A section.

Earlier, it used to be only blog posts and comments on 10-20 posts. Now, Q&A section has added at least 30 minutes to my ActiveRain time!

I believe, rewarding points for A&Q activities is a good motivation to check this section. You can learn something new and earn extra points.

Kathy - I am spending some additional time here in the Q&A section, but it has not deterred me from reading and commenting on posts. I am thinking about all the time I am spending here on AR, and may need to curtail it a little.

No,  I still spend most of my time in Posts.  There is not that many that participate in the Q & A section.

Hi Kathy. I check out the Q & A first then check out the blogs I follow. I like the Q & A. I enjoy reading some of the responses.

No, the Q & A section goes so very fast. But then I am not a flowery fluffy answer type.  I usually say what I have to say and I am done.

I'm spending less time overall.  When I do log-in I think my time is about equal ... but I had not really thought about it until you asked the question.

Good question but right now the answerr is no. I try to write 20 comments a day and i read the posts before commenting. i just started on the Q & A
