They need to have an easy way to opt out of Active Rain and to delete one's account.   Now I  need to call....whereas a simple click of a button would have sufficed.    

It's really frustrating that there isn't an easy way to delete my account with ActiveRain. What a waste of time to have to surf around the site and not find an easy, straightforward way to cancel. For businesses to allow someone to signup so easily but make it so difficult to cancel is just bad business practice.

Yes I agree.  You want to cancel and hopefully not punish anyone of their points when you do and support shold be able to do that.

As far as I know, you have to actually call and request to cancel.

You cannot delete but staff can do that for you. If you are out of the business and have no other interest in this network then contact support@activerain.com. Otherwise leave it active and you may find you want to come back to it in a few months or years.

I didn't know you had to contact someone to delete your account. Hmmm. Although I'm not going to do that. AR has worked for me.
