Andrea Swiedler where is that embedded video from NAR? I'd like to view it.
Praful I think this is something Trulia needs to police, maybe requiring a verification process or other solution that makes hijacking more difficult.

Not that I know of yet. I read a post about it and now will be on the lookout for something like that to happen. It is just a matter of time.

Praful Thakkar I think it is a good question. So my answer is YES, and that is sad. However I don't think we can avoid it, but we can take steps to mitigate the damage. I embeded a good video from NAR as to what you should do when you put a listing on the MLS to take steps that you are notified when and if it happens.

CL scammers grab a few and try to rent them, we have notices at the properties warning people of this.

Andrea Swiedler it was a great post - and hope we follow the instructions on how we can avoid this!
