CRM are not systems, but I do have a CRM or two.
I have a system to track folks by their IP address.
I have a system that delivers extremely relevant, timely, targeted messages to home owners.
I created a system for home evaluation that creates delineation and accuracy.
I have a multi-disciplined system to establish and propagate authority within my market place.
Within the CRM is the stay in touch system.
Do they make me a better agent? No.
What makes me a better agent is not the system, but how solutions provided within that system is used for the purpose intended that creates the results I want. The better agent is the one skilled in knowing how to cultivate those results and turn them into $$$$. If the agent does not understand the concept of sales, does not see the concern needing a solution, systems won't help their business, but those vendors they pay will be happy all the same.
What makes me a better agent is never stop paying attention.

Cindy Davis do you think good Agent with poor systems are still able to very successful? I think good/great Agents become better because of the systems they have developed over time. Systems can be how you prospect, manage your database, follow up with client, daily rituals, etc.. Your business is more than just your how you treat your clients... What are you thoughts? And thank you for your comment.

I am going to thing about your statement here Tabitha. I'm not sure better systems create better business or make me a better efficient. Systems make me more efficient, but in the end, I think it's how I relate to cients that makes be good or not good as an agent.

Gabe Sanders Who are you using to track your CRM? I use Top Producer but I'm guilty of not taking full advantage of all the features they offer.

I agree with Annette Lawrence and although it isn't a system the tool I apply most effectively is my CRM. I have many targeted campaigns and regular messages that keep me in touch with all my contacts.

I have checklists for every file - buyer or seller. This helped me in the beginning to remember what was expected next, but now I (or a replacement agent) can open the file and know where in the transaction it is. The left side has the closemate with all the players - buyers/sellers/agents and lenders as well as the listing and assessor record. Everything has its place, with keeps me organized.

Annette Lawrence you made an excellent point. You must be able to take the results of the systems you use and apply them so they return $$$. Sounds like you have the tools and skills to run and successful busines...
I'm going to marinate over your response for a little while... Thanks so much for your response.
