The course for broker was almost exclusively about commercial real estate practice. Not relevant to residential brokers/agents.
The courses today for license renewal or extra credits is almost exclusively presented by video. Agents with low bandwidth can't receive. That means we can't benefit from online courses.

In regards to CE just 1 thing, the TESTS! When taking classes locally there are no tests. At the end of the presentation you are given a certificate of attendance and it's done.

I had an absolutely fabulous instructor! But I was in real estate school so long ago, I can't remember what I didn't like!

I don't think I like anything about my school ( many years ago). Most of that information was useless. The same with classes I take online for credits. Most of them very outdated and quite useless.

Don't get me started. The program I went through came under fire from the state soon after I finished it. This program was suspended. I was a victim of that program. I was contacted by the school and worked closely with them on some issues, and that was almost two years after I had my license.

Let's stay positive - I liked that my instructor was an agent and had great perspective and relevant examples to teach us through.

Andy,
We took our CEU last year, and I thought the instructor was great, and I enjoyed doing those courses. No complaints on our part. A

Actually, I liked my instructor and thought he did an excellent job. (It was some of the other students I had some issues with.)

My first real estate instructor for the sales exam kept me awake through the thing and gave us all the answers we needed for the sales exam!
