My market reports get a lot of hits. And today I just got yet another lead off of one of them. That makes four leads in the last two weeks. 

My overview of the 5 economist weighin on real estate conditions for 2015 had the most hits in the past month.  I think it shows that the public realy wants the facts, not us saying.....Here is the Greatest House in the World.....or......This is the Best Place in the Country to live.  They will make those decisions for themselves.  We just need to give the public the informaiton that they need in order to make an informed decision.  Debbie

By far my neighborhood market reports. It pulls my name up in the rankings and people that google the neighborhood think I am the expert and call. And I am the expert so they are right.

Hi Russ -- specific market reports -- neighborhoods or condo/townhome/loft complexes which can be identified by name or address.   They may not always get the most comments but they do make the phone ring.

For me, there is no one blog.  It is more of bloging about my niche and my passion.  Anyone searching for a horse property or interested in horses are attracted to my posts.

As others have noted, market reports generate a lot of traffic.

However, when it comes to CALLS, "FIRST LOOK" wins hands down.

Now, be aware, due to the brief nature of 'FIRST LOOK' opportunities, the reader has only one option, which is CALL. 

Moral to the story: If you provide clear instructions and a real promise, the reader will respond as you direct.

It's hard for me to say exactly because all of my leads aren't sourced, but I know for a fact my blogs on delayed financing have gottent he phone to ring many times

My market reports, Russ Ravary. People have seen my market reports on ActiveRain and they recognize me through that. 

For me, it's answering FAQ's.  The key is to listen to your clients'/customer's q's.  What are the things they search for online?

Hello Russ I would have to agree with Michael Jacobs & Debbie Laity  on what blog topics get the best results . For me they have been my Hyper Local Market Reports these reports are on specific neighborhood areas .They make my phone ring

I focus on customer FAQs so they find the answer on my website, where I have a WordPress blog.  Interestingly, my very first blog has attracted the most traffic, "How to Notarize a Will in Colorado". 

I also write on topics of general interest including tech tips, notary history, product reviews, emergency preparation and more to attract more visitors.  Even if the blog reader doesn't call today for a transaction, they have found my website and blog, and my blog boosts my Google ranking to the top of the first page of organic search results.

I've yet to get any direct calls or business, but that doesn't stop me from posting because I believe our blogs give us credibility.

My top 10 posts have definatly generated the most inbound traffic and the only post that I can directly correlate to a comission check in hand.

Amazingly the blog that has my phone ringing the most is one I did about a local event we have in our area each year - The Punkin' Chunkin' Contest.   I get tons of calls every October from both locals and out-of-towners.  You can tell the difference and I always spend a little extra time on the phone with those who are visiting the area. I even offer to send them a notice of next year's event (an excuse to get their mailing address and/or email address).  Then I send them a handwritten note and business card telling them how nice it was to speak with them and that I hope they enjoyed the event and our area.  Of course, I mark the calendar to send them a notice of the following year's event too!

you should always run analytics on all your advertising. When talking to the suspect don't forget to ask why or how they found you. This is assuming the lead was an inbound inquiry...

Neighborhood and Market reports

From my perspective as a lender my best received topics have been on low down payment options and DPA programs. I share most of my posts on my business social media pages and have received a few apps from those posts.
