Gabe Sanders -- I will be switching to 16:9 ratio and will set my camera to make them that way most of the time.
However I have THOUSANDS of photos that were taken at 4:3 ratio and reduced to 1024 x 768. I will have to go back to my original photos to fit them to the 16:9 ratio to make the most of them.
I need to learn Photoshop soon. I am not looking forward to that.

I take larger photos like Gabe Sanders and store them in Dropbox. When it is time to upload I do my resizing right then mostly with the photo editor on my computer. That way I have full control and haven't downsized it to make it blurry for my application.

I'm trying to keep my graphics all at 16 to 9 aspect ratio, but if I need to for special applications I can re-size them with photoshop.

Gita Bantwal -- I think ALL OF US have this problem.
Roy Kelley -- My problem goes farther than just Active Rain. The more marketing I do the worse it gets.

When you use the ActiveRain file manager to upload your photographs for your blogs, you can select the desired sizes.
