I can't stand it.  The homepage is now useless to AR members (if the format were changed and we could link to see examples of 'how to blog/what to blog about, that would be helpful), and useless to the public (they don't care about that listing 2000 miles away from them).  AR blew it on this one, in my opinion, bigtime.

I also feel that way...we seem to be getting so far from what  made this site so geat.

This is crazy!!  Are they messing with us because they are bored??  You can't find anything.  

I've gone to the new home page several times in the last day but am now doing what Debbie G does -- I'm just going to "Following" and "Recent Posts."  The new home page isn't doing it for me.

It's the new changes that have had some concerned. I agree, no reason for listings, no reason for market reports and no reason for questions.

I absolute HATE it.  I was hoping I would like it, but no I think it's terrible. It's like a twitter feed of useless info.  It's hard to find anything interesting to comment on there.

I am starting to ignore it.  I am going to the "following" button and "feature" button.

Kris Neese not sure if you have been seeing the feedback.  It's hard to find the original post to give feedback on.  I get that you may want to test/tweek this for another couple of days, but honestly, this is really bad.  The idea may be good,but the implementation isn't.  Boring stuff, same authors again and again.  Very hard to find the interesting stuff.

It is the new wave of the future at AR. You will also see that posts are not getting as many comments because they are buried. Who wants to sort through all those posts and questions? Not me. It has been one day and it seems like months of it.

As a funny aside, there are now 7 responses of unhappy AR members being shown on the home page with regard to this question.  Yes, people grumbling about how much we dislike what this site is becoming must be GREAT for first time visitors to see.  GET THIS FIXED AR!

Well, in case you haven't noticed, it's no longer really a "Feature" page.  It's got all sorts of stuff on it. 

I do not like these changes either.

Everyone i have spoken to HATES IT. First the font is too small, i can barely read it. Then it is CRAZY to mx blogs with questions with listings with market reportts. Perhaps blogs should have it's own section, then question on the bottom, but DONT mix them 

Uhmmm, this is what they have been talking about for the past couple of weeks.  However, I agree, it is going to take some getting use to.

You do have a point.  There is so much information, that it is confusing and yes, it moves fast.  I don't like it.

I don't mind it at all. You can go to "Blogs" on the top bar then look for "Featured". It's not that big of a deal to me. An inconvenience... but not something that annoys me.

It is too much, but AR is working on it. I think we are going to see some changes with the new updates in March. 

What I don't understand, if AR chose '' secret group of community moderators'', why those moderators don't advise AR on ways to improve it?

I agree. I find a 'home page' boring and can not find anything that I'd like click....

There is something odd: ''200k member! Follow him!'' I opened that blog: 15 pages of posts and none of them has any comments. This member does not allow anyone to comment on his blog posts. Would you follow him?

Why they feature 200k milestone?

Confusing is the first word that comes to mind.  Right now, it's a mess.

Kat, I agree with John above. It's useless. I'll likely just go to those I subscribe to. 

I don't want to see any of that either.  Sad that they are doing that... what do I learn from that?

I don't know if I like the changes either.  

For the small font, try to hit "Ctrl +" on your keyboard--Control plus, as many times as you need, and most browsers this will zoom in for small font.  I have to do that on 90% of everything I read on the internet. 

Why are the dates and times of the comments above all messed up?  Not chronological? Am I missing something?

I like change, but it's so cluttered. Not a fan.

Now, "questions" is horrible.  This screen I am writing in covers the screen so I can't see any other answers.

I'm not fully sure of what bugs are being reported.

Sure, I like a platform to get better, but incessant tinkering is foolish and doesn't actually achieve anything other than more billable hours for the software crew.

I don't mind the new format.  I've never been a fan of the featured page.  I like seeing what is being read, what is being commented on and learning from others style and formats of listings and market reports.  But I sure do agree with Scott Godzyk about the font size being too small in the default and there is no control on comments and sometimes the best information is in the comments.

Just draw the line in the sand up in the glass towers of AR... make it you will never see a market report in the feature, a property listing highlighted and that the primary real estate "food groups" are salt and peppered in the menu, let's see. What will it be. Who is our market, that is the target and becomes crystal which posts to pick.

Also, killer post from six months ago, don't assume nope, not hot out of the oven today. If it got missed, if it has high numbers, weave a couple of those in from the archives from those round robin essentials we need to feed on daily not hit or miss. That feature page is a big deal in engagement.. making the connection or causing frustration, flit.
