Oh yes, I always have a "to do" list. I try to check off as much as I can and I've gotten in the habit of writing 2-4 things that MUST get done today. Then, often at night, I'll write 1-2 things that MUST be done by 8am (before the phones start ringing). I started these habits a few months ago and it has really helped.

I have tasks that carry over from the day before and they are written down. Then the next morning they move to the top of the list to get done first.

Mark, that is an exceptional question.
No, I don't Actually I focus more on my "To DON"T" list. I have a nearly uncontrollable need to micro-manage. I need to LET GO and 'DON'T".
What I have found extremely effective, the night before, is to list those things to which I need a solution. Most often, when I awake, the answer is with me.
Then each morning, I create the accomplishments that will be the measure of a a successful day.

Every day.... it is the best way to keep track of what to do and to be able to stop thinking about it to be able to get a good nights sleep without hoping i will remember it

I do my to do list in the morning for the day. By the end of the day, my brain is fried.

I want to complete it night before - however... it does not happen, always.

I'm a big list maker. I still do some things the old fashioned way and I carry a notebook with me. My list is ongoing. It doesn't get made at night, but as things come up during the day or night.

Annette Lawrence in knowing your own weaknesses is a great advantage. In admitting to them and working to improve on those is a true gift, in my opinion. Thank you for your candor. Mark

I keep a running to-do list using Google Tasks; when I think of things at night or during 'off' times, I jot it down quick and then it's nice to forget about it until it's time to do it. I have always used lists for everything, sometimes I have lists of lists! Keeps me focused and efficient.

If I wrote a to do list I feel like I would be to busy writing the to do's to do.
I use my outlook Calender and use it for anything that will be due.

I keep it all in the vault, and rarely write down the tasks that I need to achieve. This is certainly not the most productive way to accomplish goals, but I am able to get a reasonable amount done.

Unfortunately I do not put together a list the night before. I do it in the morning to make sure I complete all the tasks
