I just signed up for Realty Juggler. I just needed a new CRM with a drip campaign. Plus it could do more things. So far so good.

I also use Ixact Contact. I tested out at least five different CRMs and at the end of the day, Ixact was the one that best suited me and my work style. They just updated it with a fresh new interface a couple of weeks ago and I like it even more now.

I use iixact contact. I used Realty Juggler for a time but limited function, good for economical. Top Producer I have tried twice and hated both times.

The best CRM is the one that the agent learns to use productively on a daily basis.

Two that I can immediately think of
TopProducer
Market Leader.
Not to mention about RealtyJuggler and perhaps few others.
Though you asked for the BEST - and there cannot be anything better than ReferralMaker from Buffni And Company.

Be aware, the REAL cost of the CRM is in the setup, configuring and training. That monthly fee is negligible compared to those costs. Many CRM companies business it to get you on auto billing, That means making sure you exceed the trial period. You really want to avoid that.
What you should do:
Create five bogus buyers (plus you) and five bogus sellers (plus you) with a real email address on gmail and yahoo and Outlook or any free platform
List the functions your business needs.
List the functions you might use if available
List the function the new CRM has that interest you (i.e. checklists, task assignment, multiuser, chat, )
Create a test plan that will operate each of the functions you want to use.
Having tested over ten CRM I can assure you there are some that are too dangerous to use. Yet these companies are taking the money of agents because they don't know it is so broke as to compromise their business.
There is a thread here on AR that suggest a professional should not hold a business accountable by exposing their product as defective. Now wouldn't you like to know the two 'Too dangerous to use' CRMs are?
Most of the CRMs already mentioned (I use Wise Agent) are fully capable of sustaining the traditional model of real estate. As such you will find your increasingly behind as the leaders employ the best 'inbound' technologies. This is the positioning you must to headed towards.
As such, you need to be looking at products such as SugarCRM and Hubspot and SalesForce. The latter is way too expensive but pry the lid up a little and you can see through their demos what you need to be anticipating for your business.
SalesForce is the BEST. Why-leading edge, does EVERYTHING,can be customized. Affordable for a real estate agent.....NEVER. Everything you use drives the cost higher. Cost based on size of database.
Realty Juggler, good place to start.
Wise Agent , good interim product. Easy to learn and use.
Top Producer - has all the stuff, but because it is an 'exception' based system the learning curve is way, way, way too long. Those who grew up with it remain loyal, but often bail out because of all the nickle and diming.
SugarCRM, where you should be looking to be where you want to be in two years.

I tried Top Producer but was unimpressed with both the product and the service. In late 2007 I started using The Wise Agent - very economical and very user friendly. Help is available 24/7 and usually within 10 minutes. That is very impressive. It does everything I need and more - best of all I can use it on any computer/device since it is web based. They even upload all your contacts for you just send them a file.

I think the answer to this depends on the agent and the type of business the agent does. I like Top Producer because they have been tested over time and are so comprehensive and can satisfy both teams and indvidual agents. I like Market Leader to manage my internet leads because I can easily follow what they do on line.

On the bargain end I would recommend Realty Juggler, cloud based, full featured and $99 a year. If you are in the other end of the scale like me where you are selling, building, and developing then Sale Force and Smart Sheet together are the most sophisticated in running organizations in sync.

I have heard great things about Brivity, but it is a bit beyond my price range.
Looking forward to what KWCommand may become.
