What is the safest city in Florida to retire to on a limited budget, but keep in mind we do not want to live on bread and onions.. Can someone give me a good location affordable and pleasing?

Fernandina Beach is definitely safe but it is probably not for someone on an extremely tight budget. There are nice areas in Yulee that are easy driving distance to Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island.

Agenst should never claim any city is " Safe". I would check with local police depts. Don't know anything about it, but a friend recently moved to Ft Myers FL, and they were looking for affordable living, so might be worth checking out.
