Gabe Sanders in that case, just say, rates are going to go up.

If the media spent the same amount of time or even an ounce of it on Obamas scandals then maybe they would stop. As far as mortgage rates, they will stay low as long as mortgages closed stay low, once they rise and stay high, rates will go up again. They are only so low now, because the amount of mortgage approvals is down so low

I would like to see rates at a bout 6%. Still a good rate and people with a few dollars in the bank, seniors, would have a few more dollars to spend and it would help eveyone our.

I hope the mortgage rates hold off for the rest of this year. There are a lot of people that lost their jobs and homes several years ago and are getting close to getting their finances back in order and will be ready to buy this year.

Scott Godzyk great point. And yes, buyers should take advantage of this low low low rate.

Every time I make a prediction about mortgage rates I've been wrong, so take what I say with a grain of skepticism. But, I just can't believe rates will get any lower.

William Feela interesting thought.
Now that buyers are taking it for granted that the lower rates are here to stay - there may not be much movement in market unless the inventory dips down!

Larry Johnston I just show an instagram from Pat Laracy Baker - still about 10.3 Million homes not at par! So lower rates should help them to re-fi and get the lower payments - provided they can.
