We have some procedures in place for safeguards. Using good common sense is the best place to start.

It shouldn't be up to the broker, it should be the agents responsibility to ensure a safe meeting with clients.

Beep, Beep, Beep.

There are those purple and white bumper stickers stating "Look out, Motorcycle are Everywhere" and biker after biker goes by without a helment.

Then there the 'Share the Road' signs and a cyclist going 12 MPH, traffic stacked up for 2 miles, in a 45 MPH road and the bicyle path is 12 feet to the right.

Such entitlement behavior places one in unacceptable danger.

Are you feeling entitled? Meeting a stranger in a vacant house is unacceptable danger.

However, I do not show homes to strangers.

No. It seems like agents are going to put themselves in situations like this no matter how many times they are warned. Each agent is responsible for their own safety, and should develop safety procedures they feel are adequate for them.
