I can't think of any... I am very busy in January sending out market reports to my clients base, copies of HUD-1's to anyone who bought or sold a house with me the prior year. (I clean my office in December for the coming year.)

December is my declared month of intolerance!
During that time my home is purged of unfinished projects, items that could not find a place, files not closed, windows cleaned, all things undone, unfinished, incomplete, broken stuff that I must confess I have no intention of fixing, stuff without purpose, things just hanging around.
I will not tolerate bringing old baggage into the new year.

I have a task to get listings. I'd love to get more action. Finally when Holidays are over, it is time to work:) Time to call, farm, network.
I also need to finish one of my online classes.

I clean out files and set up new systems. I start implementing new endeavors and get a lot of education during the winter months.

The primary goal for January should be to make this a very productive month. Stay on the phone until your appointment schedule is full.

At the end of the month (or usually 1st of the next month), I update our database w/ all the new customers/emails from the month. I also try to connect w/ customers on LI and figure out which customers to allociate. I'm also trying to get better w/ quickbooks.
Like Alexandra, I try to get all info to acct for taxes by end of month and all info for 1099's.

Hank,
No, we don't, other than getting the numbers to our accountant, so that we can file our taxes sooner than later.

I just realized that I misunderstood your question. I thought you meant what are the monthly projects you each month, rather than which tasks in specific months.
So, for me, I group Nov/Dec together...actually it's really the last 6 weeks of the year when thing start to slow down. During that time, I analyze bus/strategy and put together marketing plan and then will work on 4-6 projects that I've specifically allocated for that time of year (those projects are diff each year). I also do new year's gifts and cards (NOT holiday cards as those get lost in shuffle).
Also, I will use July 4th weekend as another key business analysis/planning time and then labor day weekend as another check in/adjustment esp to make sure on track for year and strong fall selling season, which is important for us. (I don't always do on the actual weekend, but the week of as they are less busy).
For me, I also have quarterly sales tax to be filed, so I put that on my project list. I have a project list for each month.
