Seriously, Praful ... I need to see what's facing my day from overnight. I've had offers on properties come in overnight. It doesn't take but maybe 10 minues to review my inbox, delete what I don't need and make a list of what I should focus on later in the day.

First I check email and eliminate everyting I don't need. Then I do my active rain. Then I do my lead follow-up on line.

Debbie Reynolds voice messages and emails are lifeline of our business for sure. However, at recent webinar, it was mentioned that they can wait! And it is not the best money producing activity! (However, I do the same as you do - check messages, emails.)

Wayne Ellis responding to overnight email is not wrong - it's believed to be an energy drain.

The very first thing is to check my phone which includes voicemail, texts, notifications and emails.

I turn my computer on, make coffee, feed the kitties and start writing a blog. I do check the emails also.

I literally wake up, reach of my glasses and IPad, and check emails. It is a BAD habit that I need to break. The first thing should be lead generation, in my opinion.

I always tackle the emails from overnight first. I don't think there is a wrong answer but I just want to get them out of the way.

I avoid emails. I do AR while having coffee. But, here's what I've found really works...the night before, I write down 2 to 3 things that I want to get done b4 8am and I focus on them.
Email can be a trap. You should be setting your agenda.
