Here in Florida real estate tax base is reduced $50,000 for homesteaded real estate. The reader may or may not know that and may or may not own real estate.
If you know who you are mailing to, add your insight regarding trends in that macro market suggesting data behind the trends reveals what 2015 will bring regarding their home value. Will values increse/decrease? When will it occur? How long will it last? Who will benefit most? What can be done to gain advantage?
This works if you set the stage for them to accomplish what they must(3 validation points) with the contruct of your choosing and a promise for which you will overdeliver.
Of course there is ALWAY the tea party option.

I mostly work with sellers, but I would make a brochure with all of you information along with all the benefits that owning a home has. You might also want to include some statistics from NAR and Realtor.com that pertains to homeownership. Also include some sort of "call to action". Hope this was helpful.

Something I find useful is a large post card with organizational filling tips. Who hasn't worked with dozens of buyers who have no idea where their documetns are for income, retirement accounts, bank statements, tax returns and so on? I always give buyers a list of doc's they will need to be preapproved and they almot always cringe at the thougt of the time it takes to find these things.
A list of free or low cost on line ways to track expenses also is helpful.

Possibly sent them an explanation of the tax savings made possible by home ownership. And, don't forget to send your past year's clients a copy of their HUD-1, they will need it when doing their taxes.

I send them a letter in January that include a copy of their settlement statement. In the letter I also remind to file for Homestead Exemption. Subscribing to this as I am always looking for new ideas.
