Good choice. In my opinion there is only one Android phone out there. It is the Samsung Note 4. It has a big screen and a gret camera. It is so useful, I got rid of my iPad.

I've been using the Samsung Note 3 since its inception with a Plantronics Bluetooth. I wear the phone on my belt and can receive, make calls and text by using voice commands. So, it's basically hands free.
It's the best phone for business in my opinion and because of its big screen, I can access anything on my PC anywhere.

I am still using my old HTC and it works so well I feel guilty trading up. Depends on what you want. If you are like me and like a big screen the Note 4 looks good. There is a new phone out with a Sidebar on it. Not sure what it is called and it may be an ATT product only, not sure. But it has a certain WOW factor.

I wouldn't personally ever go back Droid, I did a test for 2 straight years, carried a Galaxy Note (1 year) with the iPhone 4s and Galaxy Note 2 with the iPhone 5.
I did a breakdown on access and permissions. Every app I added on my droids touched permissions on other apps and internal files. My spam levels kicked in on email accounts that I know were never used anyhwere but that Droid.
The final thing that nailed a full switch to just my iPhone...my daughter tossed my phone on my bed, I went to answer it and it wouldn't slide on the screen..I couldn't see anything wrong..turned off and back on...there was a hairline crack about 2 layers below the screen....$299 for repair that was my Note 2 with insurance. That was the digitizer, that price is a new upgrade.
Kimo Jarrett I do those things with my iPhone, Macs and PCs.
I guess you can say I'm in love with simplicity and a pure tech geek to boot though

I went from Motorola Android to iPhone after the phone kept failing, 4 in 6 months. What bothered me even more was that Motorola didn't adopt or download the new operating systems as they became available. Apple makes all upgrades immediately available. The stores offer immediate help for most phone issues. I would suggest that you examine just what you have on your phone that you aren't using. The secret to a good backup is to clean your phone at the same time. There are numerous places to store pictures. One area that we often overlook is the messages with videos attached. They are all in your phone and really don't need to be backed up. All that being said, I am very impressed with the Samsung products. But I have a Galaxy 10.1 tablet that takes forward to get started and isn't very easy to use. I have an Apple 4s phone and a IPad 2, both very old but very useful. Before you switch make sure you understand how you Supra key, if you use one, will work with the new phone. There are trade offs with each system.

I used the Galaxy Note 2 since it came out and it was so amazing I didn't need to upgrade to the Note 3 but finally caved in and upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 two weeks ago. It is amazing!!!!! Way better speed, camera, video, s pen, etc. Oh, and did I mention it is the only phone that works with the Gear VR (virtual reality) headset?

I'm a little late to the party, but here's my two cents:
Based on exhaustive research...
I got an LG Optimus (model LG-P769), Hubz got a Samsung Galaxy S4.
Both of us are very happy w our phones.
If I was in the market to buy a phone today, I would go find a Samsung Note IV.
ps. We have a T-Mobile family plan & love it.

Just saw an email ad yesterday on the new Samsung EDGE. Looks cool from brief glance & will read more today!!! Hope iPhone picks up some of these features as Samsung seems to be in the lead right now.
I just got my 3rd iPhone a month ago (models 4, 5 & now the 6+). Love it and more RE apps seem to lean toward iPhones. Most local Realtors have them now.

Hi Shanna Hall
I have the Samsung Note. It takes beautiful pictures, I can read everything without putting my reading glasses on and it has even newer features as I have the 3 and now the 4 just came out. It has a stylus you can use too. I cannot say enough great things about my NOTE phone. My computer and tablet are Apple but love my Droid.

I'm using the Galaxy Note 3 and love it. Big screen but not too big to carry all the time in my purse. It's really a "phablet" (phone-tablet) and with Google voice I dictate my texts, emails, etc. so don't miss a bigger keyboard. Get a Gorilla case and you won't have issues with damage unless you have an unusual incident dropping it.

LG Optimus Slider. It has a keyboard and arrows to navigate which is a must for me; I write 80% of my emails, etc. on my phone (like now). You can find one on Ebay for $20 :-)
Samsung Galaxy is the other good one.

The Best work phone on the market is a Blackberry Z30 all touch or if you really want the best a Passport with full keyboard and touch screen. And it has all the android apps availble.
Blackberry QNX operating system cannot be beat. It will be in everything soon. If it can run a nuclear power station it can run a phone.

I am using the Samsung Galaxy S5 and love it!! The camera on the phone is the one I use for most of my photos and does an excellent job. I have had earlier versions of this phone... and had been happy with them. Prior to that, was the HTC. There are a couple of others who are using the Samsung Note 4 and they love it... I almost went that direction....

Hi Shanna - what a smart person to ask this question! I was a droid user and two years ago switched to an iPhone because everyone seemed to love it. Unfortunately, droid features that I loved were not available on the iPhone. My two year contract was up this past November and I went back to a Droid - the big Samsung Note 4. LOVE IT. Feels like the gates of heaven opened up! Favorite feature - voicemail can be transcribed so that you can read it - couldn't easily do it on an iPhone. I did have the issue that someone mentioned above with text messages for a day or two. You have to make sure you shut down your i message account before giving back your iPhone. Google "iPhone to droid text message" and there are instructions on how to avodd the problem. No big deal. My daughter has the big iPhone 6 but I'm just loving the Samsung Note 4

I resisted becoming an iPerson for many years and got a Droid. I was having problems with it and went to the Verizon store where the sales person told me the Droid really had more capabilities than the iphone, but I changed to the iphone as I knew I wasn't using all the Droid capabilities anyway. At the time I also discovered that most of my fellow Realtors and ski clients used the iphone so if I had any problems they coud help me. I now have the 6 iphone and also got the MacBook Air and iPad. I am very happy with the simiplicity of all those devices and the one-to-one help I have gotten at the Apple Store. Each to his/her own.

Everyone has an opinion on this topic, and there are two distinct sides!
I got an iPhone when they first came out, but a friend who is corporate IT director for a very big company recommended a Samsung Galaxy S3 at the time my iPhone was fried after a year. That was in 2009 or '10, and I have the Galaxy S5 now and wouldn't go back to the iPhone if you paid me! What I like most is the automatic synching with contacts and calendar with my Google account. Also, I have a Samsung tablet (don't know what model, but the 10-inch screen) and it is just like my phone and love it.

I have the ZTE Zmax for Tmobile and bought 2 more for family because it has great features for me. Low price, huge screen, and great batery life. I don't know if you can get this phone for other carriers or not.
$252 from Tmobile and cheaper from other places if you shop around. I bought my last one for $179 new.

Roy Kelley - I am also Verizon! I use an android tablet- and the capabilities and the freedom that it allows way exceeds the iPhone and it's limitations.
Belinda Spillman My iPhone has not backed up in 32 weeks because I am out of space- I refuse to pay apple to have stuff on the cloud- I back up with dropbox for everything. I also cannot stand that Apple has so much control over everything. Most apps are created for the droid first and the iPhone second.
With that being said;)- Still trying to figure out which phone to buy next;)

I have had iThings for about 5 years now and love them all. My phone is great (iPhone) for real estate. My husband has a Windows phone and my daughter has the Galaxy. I wouldn't trade my i for either of these. They both have limitations on functions that my iPhone does.
