I need both . I use the ipad when I am at open houses and on the road and use the laptop at other times.

Tablets are fun to have for mobile presentations and for easy transport, but they have not yet reached the point where they can replace a computer.  At least that's what I think.

We like both, and use the laptop for travel mostly, or if we feel like working downstairs.  The tablet is great also for reading, etc.  A

A tablet is perfect for showings (Granted that the MLS provider has made it compatible). They are far less bulky and fairly user friendly. But for doing CMAs, BPOs, and other reports, a laptop is far superior.

Laptop - with smalled screen size like 14".

I use a desktop for all work that needs to be done, and storage.  A tablet I use for mobile purposes, emailing on the couch, etc. No use for a laptop when you have that combination.

I think the best option - if you are used to laptop with Windows - use Surface 3 - best of both world!

I use my mac for AR, but I sometimes use ipad for posting comments~ it is really easy:)

It is smaller and easier to take with you .I would not replace my laptop with an Ipad it is a good second .  I do love my IPad and I love my Laptop too

I prefer working on my laptop, but the notebook/tablet is easier on the run.  My MLS provider (Rapatonni) has made it compatible to work from my tablet in the field.

I have both an Imac air and an ipad. I'm giving my ipad to my Mom. I just never use it. I thought it took great photos and would be worth hanging onto. However, I soon found my I 6 phone takes equally as good of photos for my needs and is a lot less cumbersome.

I still use a laptop, but I have a tablet, which I use judiciously as well. I just don't find it as responsive and fast.
