I am a Canadian and practice as a realtor in Colorado.
Your question is very broad. If you really would like a specific answer, please provide me with a location. For instance, in Garfield County the oil prices are definately a varable in sales. Many Texas buyers purchase Garfield county.
As a result, if oil sales are lower, cashflow for my Texans is lower.
Generally, oil prices in an area that is highly green, energy efficient like Canada, has a less impact that in an area like Garfield County, Colorado.
I hope this helps.

Only if the seller or buyer is in oil industry affected by jobs. Frankly it will not make any impact so far as US west coast goes. The price of gas is going up may be by $65 cents sometime in 2015 since the cleaner gas law is already in effect, I already see $0.20 increase already.
