If you want to find people who are posting locally go to the search feature of Twitter and then type in the keyword you're looking for and pick the local area you want. Then you'll on see people and posts from that area.

I use the City and County websites that include notices for local events. And, I watch the newspapers. Further, I receive emails from many local businesses and organizations that give me information to share. You can share your blogs on Facebook and in local Facebook groups.

Local photographs always provide good content.
