Sam Miller here's a site that I branded my photos:
http://4508herringcreekroad.2seeit.com/
And I'm considering replacing the photos on my Trulia and Zillow listing... where they will last long after the listing is sold I hope.

Sam Miller we can't watermark our MLS photos, but I was considering doing it on other syndication sites. Not so much to protect them, but to add extra branding.

RVA Home Pro Michael Hottman, My team and I are not watermarking our listing photos on our website or on the MLS. However, we are watermarking the majority of our community blog photos.

I guess, my husband does that. If not, we should.

RVA Home Pro Michael Hottman, What you are describing is a great and I had a friend watermark his name and phone number and he has had pretty good response from it.

I never have as I think it is distracting. It is easy enough to track if they are being used by someone else through the code.

I take my pictures down sometimes after the sale of the house, of it is rented. I work with a lot of short sales and sometimes the condition of those houses are not the best, they are not staged or perfectly organized. If I hire a photographer, I make them watermark pictures, those pictures I don't remove.

No. I really do not care if they are used by others. Why worry about it when there are more important things to do. This, of course, is a personal decision that has no best answer.
