I do send out a magnet calendar every year. It not only has the calendar, but it also has recipes that I hope people will enjoy and share and keep. In my rural market, this works. This kind of marketing has shelf life and people tell me they look forward to my calendars every year.
We do 2 refrigerator magnets every year...a Broncos schedule and a year long calendar. We used to do a Rockies schedule too. We've gone in to our past clients homes and we've seen the magnets on their fridge, so we know folks are keeping them. We also know they see our faces EVERY day when they get something out to eat or drink!
I send out calendar magnets and people seem to enjoy them and look forward to receiving them. I had a gal tell me a story about her young daughter knowing who I was, even though she had never met me. When her Mom asked her how she knew me, she said "duh, he has been on our fridge for years and I see his face every day". This was powerful to me and made me realize that it is something that I should definitely continue doing.
Never have, but many people really like these.
We do not - but - never did
I do even though I don't want one on my refrigerator and most everyone has a calendar in their phone. I do have some in my database that ask every year when will I be sending them.
I think that magnets are out of date gifts. But, if it works for you, they have the benefit of being inexpensive.
