Get to Know Kathy Wilson

I am a native of Georgia and the East Metropolitan Atlanta area.  Therefore I am uniquely qualified to help both Buyers and Sellers in the area.  I have worked specifically in the following counties in the last year:  Butts, DeKalb, Henry, Jasper, Newton, Rockdale, Walton, Morgan.

My professional designations include ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), SRS (Seller's Representative Specialist), e-Certified (Proficient in Technology).  I am the 2008 Secretary for the Metro East Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors.  I am currently working toward my next two designations:  the GRI (Graduate Realtor Institure) and PMN (Performance Management Network)

I believe everyone in the process should do their homework.  Part of my job is to be a Buyer or Seller's "Research Assistant".  If I don't have the answer I will ask the right questions and get the right answer.  That's why I hang my license with Prudential.

I am experienced in both Residential and Commercial Real Estate.  During 2007 I closed several Commercial properties in Rockdale and Newton Counties. 

I enjoy working with excited 1st-time homebuyers as well as growing and changing families.  It's always a rewarding experience when I have a part in educating and assisting people with their first home purchase.  The first time buyer experience is always a challenge and a learning experience for everyone involved.  Remember to buy only what you can afford to maintain.  There will be utility bills, home maintenance, etc. long after the closing.  Make sure you have figured this into your budget.  People want an agent that will be honest, informed and willing to go the extra mile, or two, to make sure the 1st-time homebuyer fully understands all aspects of the home-buying process.
