My name is Kyle Smith. I am a Realtor with RealEdge Real Estate in Tyler, Texas, where I have been an active Realtor® since 1996. I live on the outskirts of Tyler, in what I consider to be the "Best of East Texas"! I am originally from Arlington, Texas, but once I discovered East Texas, I knew I had to live here. Honestly, I don't think I'd ever want to live anywhere else. As if the beauty of East Texas were not enough, the citizens will make up the difference. Tyler is quite possibly one of the friendliest cities in the nation.
Currently, I am a member of the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors®, Texas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. I also hold the designation of Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and have completed over 750 hours of additional education in real estate. So as you can see, I take education very serious. Knowledge is what will set me apart from others in a difficult market. Some of the courses I have studied include: "Staging Your Home", "Negotiations", "Investing", and "Marketing", just to name a few. I have also taught courses in Negotiation tactics and Developing a Client Relationship.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors of the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors®, and in the past have served on the Ethics and MLS committees. Previously at Keller Williams Realty in Tyler, I serve on the ALC (Agent Leadership Council), which consists of the Top 20% of agents in the Keller Williams Market Center. The ALC assists in setting policies and procedures for operations within our local Market Center.
My previous career in marketing provided invaluable education to me, and my clients today benefit from that experience as well. However, I'm constantly competing with those whose marketing experience consists of running a line ad in the newspaper and placing a sign in the yard.
