I am one of the fortunate few who had the opportunity to grow up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and the privilege to immigrate to California.  I proudly became an American citizen, married the love of my life, and finally settled in Carmel by the Sea, my most favorite place in the world. 

My parents instilled an appreciation for family, nature, community, and that you could achieve any goal with hard work & determination.  My father began his life in an orphanage; one day a caring elderly couple adopted my father, and provided him with a loving home.  My mother was born in Belgium and taken to Canada during World War two; she was also raised by an adoptive family.  Interesting how life brought my parents together and they raised a family of four daughters in a typical middle class Canadian community.  Both of my parents were hard working and focused on providing their children with a quality family life.  Their love & guidance shaped my belief structure to set goals, work hard, be fair, honest, give back to community, and live life to the fullest. 

I am a graduate from the University of Alberta in Canada with a Bachelor of Physical Education majoring in Business Administration.  After graduation from university I had the opportunity to work for 10 years in the private club industry, managing golf & country clubs throughout North America.  While working in the club industry I had the opportunity to develop strong marketing, sales, business management, and communication skills.  My passion of providing exceptional service in an upscale environment for my club members naturally carried over as my desire to focus in the real estate industry began to unfold.

The opportunity to help families find a new home or move on to a new destination is a special experience and privilege that I enjoy with my clients.  The journey to find my calling in life as a real estate broker has been enjoyable and I feel fortunate to love what I do.  Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty, I founded Professional Realty Inc. in 1997, a boutique residential Real Estate Company specializing in luxury estates in the Central Valley.  In my real estate career I have sold close to a thousand homes and over a billion dollars in real estate.  My success is fueled by my desire to provide an extraordinary service to my wonderful sphere of clients.  It gives me satisfaction to know that I am renowned for showcasing my client’s property with state of the art marketing, my personal photography, and my artistic interior designer touches.
