I live and work in Mt. Dora, Florida. We have many countryside travelers and international visitors that fall in love with Mt. Dora with its old world charm and fabulous restaurants to enjoy.  There are Bed and Breakfast Inns to enjoy along with many festivals held throughout the year.  Mt. Dora is located in Lake County, Central Florida.  Close enough to have dinner with Mickey Mouse (approximately 1 hour away) and right outside of the big city where you can enjoy the peaceful tranquil settings of the many beautiful sunsets on any one of the 1400 lakes in the county.  I have a wonderful husband, children- his + mine, and a cat that kind of adopted us a few years back... sometimes I think she's still testing us to see if we are right.
