After graduating from the University of Alabama and getting my BS degree, I joined my family business. The business grew and we went public and later sold to an international company. I never enjoyed being idol so I created my own commercial and residential design firm in Mountain Brook and worked for several years. I later moved to Florida and started my real estate career in 1993. I worked in luxury waterfront homes until 2004. I worked as a sales associate with Coldwell Banket in Port St. Lucie and enjoyed worlds of experience in its growing city. This was experience in average home sales and completely different from waterfront. The knowledge of this market was a great experience for me and gave me a complete cycle of working with different price brackets. There was a hole in my goal as I felt my need to get back to the farm and my roots. I decided to build, along with my husband, an equestrian farm and received the greatest satisfaction of my entire life. I turned my real estate specialization directly to what I truly loved and that was farm land, equestrian properties, vacant land and small ranches. I have live this lifestyle and I know it. Excitement still comes to me when I have a great property to show. I work very hard to keep up with modern technology in the computer world. I have made sure that my marketing is done on a global basis. For each day that one learns something new in computers makes another thing gone forever. I have a marketing program that has proven global marketing.
My next desire is to continue my real estate company and grow. My certifications are simply, I am a member of the National Association of Realtors. a member of the Florida Association of Realtors, a member of the Martin County Board of Realtors, and member of the Martin County MLS. I have completed my requirements that satisfy the Tennessee Real Estate Commission and to present me with my Tennessee Brokers License and Carol Barron-Cross Realty to work in Tellico Plains. I will enjoy working with Knox County MLS as I am a member of NAR and Martin County Board of Realtors. At present I am with Yanick Realty as a sales associate in Palm City, Florida. My desire is to be able to work with and create a strong network with the agents of East Tennessee and Knox County Realtors. Tellico Plains, Tennesse is a wonderful choice and to be a part of the real estate profession, Tellico Plains is a special place for me and one of the most beautiful natural environments that God created. We can all work together and love this beautiful land.
Home is where the heart is. This is Hattie Rose and friend. Hattie is probably a future client for someone because she loves equestrian living. This young lady started jumping when she was seven and wanted to be a horse jockey. When your customer ask for certain things in equestrian, gentleman's farms, or just vacation properties, it is easy to show and know the pros and cons of property types. My experience in luxury and farms has really made it better for my real estate customers. After all we are a service profession.

I thought it would be fun to give an example of some of the fun things about my profession. Tellico Plains, Tennessee has some many wonderful things to do and one that everyone has found to love is biking in the mountains. My husband and I enjoy riding bikes and seeing the mountains in real fresh air. I will be posting many article as the "Tellico Biker". There are so many things to report on and thought this might let my readers get to know me. Yes, I have motorcycle license and believe that anyone who desires to ride should take the proper education classes, pass the test, and exercise common sense and rules. There are so many people that enjoy the sport of riding bikes. I will be reporting on events of the village of Tellico Plains and some of the neighboring communities. Also, I will bring some great properties to your attention so that everyone can see this great place. Watch for my blogs and newsletters via Active Rain.
