As Principal Broker/Managing Partner at Portfolio Properties Group, my focus is on luxury properties and waterfront estates in Litchfield County, CT, and in nearby New York. I have been active in the real estate brokerage business for over 30 years, and I have been involved in the purchase or sale of virtually all of the homes in my corner of northwestern Connecticut at least once. I am interested in the potential of the Internet to connect buyers, sellers and agents, and I look forward to exploring that potential with this blog.

The agency enjoys a relationship as Litchfield County's exclusive affiliate of Christie's Great Estates, a wholly owned subsidiary of of Christie's Auction House, London, England. Our Portfolio Properties website was selected the "Best Website in North America" as part of the Bentley's American Property Awards for 2006, and that has put me in contact with a number of prospective buyers and sellers. 

I began my career with the Dovos Corporation, an international real estate development consortium headquartered in New York City and Tokyo, Japan. After joining Landmark Real Estate Company in 1974, I became a partner in 1982. During my years with Landmark, I consulted for and marketed development properties in many high profile locations in North America. These locations included South Hampton, New York; Litchfield County, Connecticut; Pembroke, Bermuda; Naples, Florida; Newport, Rhode Island; and numerous others. I have been actively engaged in the sale of luxury real estate, vacation and resort properties, hotels and shopping centers throughout the United States and Europe.
