I am an individual who has had 10 homes in 32 years all over the country and never taking anymore then 6 weeks to sell my home. I started working for a real estate agent as an administrative assistant (was a licensed realtor many years ago); and from this opportunity started staging homes for the realtor as part of my job. After staging a couple of homes we both realized it was something that came very easy to me and wanted to pursue it full time. I took a staging certification course with Staging Diva and have been staging homes ever since.
My experience has been primarily in utilizing what is "already there" in an owner's home and adding touches to make the home absolutely perfect for marketing at minimal to no cost to the sellers. I charge a flat fee, the most reasonable on the market and I have been fortunate that the realtors I have staged for paid for it out of their own pocket realizing the small fee gave them huge rewards and a quick sale.
