My name is Martha Stanton-Smith. I am the founder and chief stager of Rearrangements Home Staging Ltd. I am a Certified Canadian Staging Professional and RESA-PRO member of the Real Estate Staging Association. We have been helping homeowners in the Kingston, ON region prepare their homes to sell more easily since 2006,
Staging is a second career for me. I always enjoyed rearranging homes, but for 3 decades I earned my living with The City of Winnipeg. I was an accountant, internal auditor, and budget officer. I used to audit city accounts and sell (explain) the various departments' budget requests to Councillors.
Now, as a home stager, I audit (just a review - not a scary audit) people's homes and suggest ways to make them sell without breaking the homeowner's budget. This sort of auditing and budgeting is a lot more fun and it's much quicker to see the results.
