Sherry has owned a home in Collingwood since 1990. After a successful teaching career at private schools in Toronto and Richmond Hill, Sherry left teaching to start a new career in real estate. Beginning in new home sales, Sherry developed a friendship with another colleague, Maureen Gowans, who was also working in new home sales and together they decided to forge ahead and open a boutique brokerage, with Maureen as Broker of Record. Clairwood Real Estate was born! Today Sherry is one of the most successful real estate brokers in the area with sales in excess of $30,000,000 for 2007.
