I am fortunate enough to live and work in one of the most beautiful and weather soft regions of these United States. What's not to like? Gorgeous year round weather, no hint of Hurricaines or floods, and a semi-rural region of rolling hills, lush tree filled arroyos and ocean and city views that belie the short trip to the bustling mega city of Los Angeles. Born in the area, I have never wanted to live elsewhere; and my enthusiasm for the Southbay of Los Angeles county, and in particular for the small cities on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula some 20 miles south west of downtown Los Angeles is highly contagious!
I am a full-time Real Estate Broker with 33 years of experience under my belt in selling homes and income property in the cities of Rancho Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Torrance, Lomita, Redondo beach and Long Beach. I am happy to work in all prices ranges and do. And to better serve my clients I have long been a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a Graduate of the Realtors Institue (GRI) and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). With a long background in teaching (formerly a College Instructor) I have found the old axiom "If you're not teaching you're not selling" particularly appropriate and as true as ever. My clients through the years have repeatedly informed me that I took the time to explain things to them, every step of the way, and they were never in doubt about any of the myriad processes involved in a successful real estate transaction.
Very hands-on and detail orientated, I enjoy marketing homes of all sizes and description to their greatest potential or their greatest assets - and never loose sight of the fact that any property I market - is very often the single largest investment my client is likely to make.
To help me in my marketing efforts I have developed an efficient marketing team that comprises several individuals, tops in their respective fields; from photographers to stagers, from mortgage lenders to escrow and title officers - who allow me to do what I do best - sell properties in the Southbay for top dollar - hassle free!

As a full time real estate professional, I have been a licensee since 1979, a real estate broker since 1982, and as the various realtor designations after my name suggest, a well-educated and top producing agent for many, many years.
Why does any of this matter to you? Because education, experience, and professional organizations insure that you will receive the best possible service from the most highly qualified of realtors with proven results.
I am not only an active real estate broker, but a mentor and teacher to many other realtors in the area and have consistently placed I the top 5% of all realtors nationwide in annual sales volume.
I am also a university educated realtor, with B.A. and M.A. degrees that give me a decided advantage in dealing with individuals of many cultural, intellectual and socio-economic levels. I am also proficient in loan origination and mortgage lending, providing added value service to my clients in pre-qualifying potential buyers.
There is an old but very true adage in sales that “If you’re not teaching you’re not selling”. A particularly appropriate saying for me as while building my real estate career, I taught at the college level for many years. My clients often site my ability to explain clearly and to their satisfaction the various phases of the real estate selling process.
Often called upon to speak publicly on topics ranging from real estate to antiques and collectibles (a side passion) and a long time member of Toastmasters, I enjoy educating people on a wide range of topics and fields of interest- including, of course, real estate.
I was born and raised locally, attended local schools and both a local university as well as Europe, and have with only a few interludes lived and work locally. My Grandfather and parents were local real estate investors and so at an early age instilled in me the value of real estate. Happily married, with 3 children, 1 of whom is still in college, I continue to work in the local real estate community that I so very much enjoy.
