Hi, I'm Sheila Nowell! I became a Realtor in 2002 mostly because I loved being a homeowner and looking at homes for sale. After my first sale, however, I realized that being a Realtor was much more than that, and found that I am passionate about helping people realize the American Dream.
A little about me...I was born and raised in McLean County. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Shane. He's a huge help in my business. He was once a licensed real estate agent, too. He has a Bachelor's Degree in multimedia design and enjoys helping out with my advertising. I have an Associates Degree from Heartland Community College (2003) and am slowly plugging away at my final year of a Bachelor's Degree. I say slowly because my first priorities outside of my career are my 3 amazing children who all proclaim to be Realtors-in-Training.
I am a teammate with my aunt, Beth Herald. She's been selling real estate since 2000, and together, we are a dynamic team full of honesty and integrity. I have sold several million dollars in sales volume in my career. However, the "volume" isn't my focus, but moreso, the satisfaction of my customers. I show and list any and every property and price range the my customer requests as long as I am able, regardless of price or location. I have sold to first-time homebuyers, downsizers, and everything in between. I have sold rural properties, suburban properties, land, and commercial properties. Every transaction is another learning experience for us all, and one that I always enjoy navigating to the closing table.
