| Highly likely to recommend Bought a Condo home in 2016 in Downey, CA. I met Ruben in an open house that he was showing. Right from the bat, I told him that I'm just looking around and the house that he is showing is something I can't afford. What impresses me about him is despite my candidness that im technically not a potential client at that time, he still took time to answer my questions and he even gave me ideas how I can ultimately afford to buy one. From that meeting, I asked for his business card. Every now and then he would checked with me and almost 2 years after that first meeting, I contacted him as I was ready to buy mine. These are the qualities that I like about Ruben. 1) Dependable, does his research and works fast. 2.) Doesn't pressure you to do an offer. 3.) Provides an honest feedback if you ask his opinion about a house that you like. He is not for the money. He truly takes care of your interest. At one point I told him about a house that I like. He told me that it was over priced and suggested for me to search more options. In addition, he does his best to negotiate your price offer regardless of how big the markdown is. 4.) Accomodating. He works around your schedule and very patient. 5.) Has a very positive attitude that really boost your feeling when you get to be frustrated of looking for that house. 6.) Very generous. I was at the last stretch of closing the escrow when the seller has still a pending action item. When Ruben, learned about it, he immediately decided to cover for that. It is supposed to be a seller's expenditure but because Ruben knows that I really dont have enough funds and it may fall out of escrow, he took the hit himself. This act of generosity is truly above and beyond of what I think agents will typically do. 7.) He is more than an agent, he is a friend. He has connections and is willing to provide a helping hand. Overall, working with Ruben was a pleasure and I do feel that I'm an important client regardless of how small my transaction is with him |
