Roxane has been in real estate for since 1997. She spent her first 9 years in business making a casual living, and pursuing her hobbies in the arts. In 2005, she acquired a family with 2 children. At the same time, she looked around the industry and saw a building storm. Coming to the conclusion that she could either build an REO business or become an expert in negotiating a short sale, she chose short sales, understanding that the skills required for this business were so specialized that agents who became proficient would be in a position to help an enormous number of people. During this same period, Jake left a successful mortgage company that he had built in Denver to join Countrywide in 2004. He quickly rose through the ranks, overseeing production in 17 states. In the position of National Accounts Sales Manager and traveling 5 days a week, he saw the mortgage melt-down from the inside. Born with an analytical mind, he was intrigued by the circumstances around the sub-prime loan crisis and looked ahead to the same gathering storm. In 2008, after the birth of his 4th child his wife and he decided it was time to make a major business/lifestyle change and he set to putting his unique perspective to use helping homeowners in distress and became a Realtor in 2009.

The two met, felt an instant synergy with parallel visions and merged into one dynamic team in May of 2010. Part of their vision: building a sustainable business in a troubled economy. The second part is something that is changing the real estate community: they are teaching others to do the same in a marketplace where the majority of Real Estate Agents are fleeing from the growing number of the sellers that are either underwater on their mortgages or close to it. Since joining forces they have seen first-hand that most homeowners face an uphill battle trying to find real information that is pertinent to their specific situations.

Roxane and Jake focus on offering distressed homeowners access to as much knowledge as possible about the situations that they are in. They are very clearly focused on helping the homeowner stay in their home if it is at all possible. They have pulled together a team of like-minded professionals including Attorneys and CPAs to help in this goal. As is often the case with entrepreneurs who understand that “good-people” is also “good-business” , they have quickly expanded their businesses to a team that includes a short sale Coordinator and Assistant, 3 Executive Assistants as well as a 4 Buyer Specialists. Already recognized in the real estate community as leading minds on the subject of foreclosure, they are on an aggressive teaching circuit at the front-range Boards of Realtors. Their passion is to increase the knowledge of Realtors, who are truly on the front lines of this crisis and in a position to offer real help to homeowners who desperately need it.
