       "Why should I use a realtor to assist me in            my home search"? 

When I represent clients as their buyers agent, I have a moral, ethical and fiduciary responsibility to work in their best interests. As an experienced and competent realtor, I offer the following services:    

We will meet to discuss your current and longer term goals and I will provide you with valuable insight in the home buying process. If you are not already pre-qualified for a mortgage, I can provide you information on respected lenders. When you are pre-approved, I can then begin researching homes which meet your needs and budget. When ever possible, I will preview homes prior to taking you there. I will not waste your time showing you bad properties. Once you've found a home,  I will provide guidance on the offer price based upon similar homes sold. We will work together to negotiate the best terms and price for the home. When a purchase offer has been accepted, I will manage every detail to protect your interests from the inspection and appraisal through to the closing. 

Frequently asked questions:How is the buyers agent paid?

The buyer agent is paid by the seller's listing broker. 

Can't  I just buy a home at an open house?

Yes you can.  Be aware however, that the listing agent is working in the sellers best interest and not yours.

Wouldn't I be better off to just look on my own?

If you want to look at homes, go it on your own.  If you want to buy a home, why would you not choose to work with a real estate professional?  He knows the inventory, neighborhoods, school information, home values and more.  You are much more likely to find your dream home and most likely save money as well.
