Owner and Broker-in-Charge of Clyde Realty, LLC Ron Clyde established the company in 1993 following his career with Prudential, C. Dan Joyner and ReMax Realty Professionals, Inc. Over the years, he has been involved in every aspect of the company's residential, multi-family, office, commercial, and industrial brokerage. Ron has been active in many land developments, beginning with successfully negotiating the completion of Hudder's Creek subdivision in Simpsonville, South Carolina in 1990. Ron initially obtained his real estate license in 1989.
Ron's years of experience truly make him an expert in Upstate South Carolina's real estate market and an indispensable resource for his clients. He specializes in land, residential, investment, and resort brokerage. In addition to seller brokerage, Ron specializes in buyer representation. While no longer actively appraising properties, Ron completed all courses required for residential appraisal license in 1993. The company remains heavily involved in residential sales and marketing, focusing on acquisitions for investor clients of properties pending litigation and REO properties. For industrial and commercial experience, Ron calls on his last twenty-five years as a construction project manager in the industrial sector.
Ron attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, majoring in Computer Science. Ron is committed to continuing his real estate education and has completed numerous courses to that end.
A vital member of his community, as well as his county, Ron is an active contributor to the first aid community. Ron is a DOT First Responder, a Senior member of the National Ski Patrol (N.S.P.) since 1980, and a level II certified PSIA ski instructor. Through his N.S.P. involvement, training, and travels, Ron offers a wealth of referral services to investors and to vacation homeowners looking for resort properties though out North America, and is happy to add personal travel insight.
As an investor in income producing properties, Ron can show you how to avoid paying most capital gains taxes when disposing of your business or investment property, or he can advise on investment grade acquisitions as well. One of his specialties has become Section 1031 tax deferred exchanges.
