I would love to help you sell your home! I have been in the industry for over 20 years and really enjoy what I do. In today's market people are looking for a home that is move in ready (model home) unfortunately with most families busy schedules this is next to impossible. Most are still living in the home we are selling.  The truth is most want to move on. Wheather you have purchased your dream home, moving for more space, leaving the area, down sizing or upgrading, we all have a need to sell. That's why it's on the market! That's where we come in. Some of us have heard about (Home stagers) well. There are those that come in and say, rip out all the carpets, paint the whole house, re landscape the entire yard etc. That may be what some clients want, but it doesn't have to be that drastic. And all of that I just mentioned stays at the home. What we do is a little different. We come to your home and assess the layout, furniture placement, etc. Then we discuss with you some options that are available. We can do the work, or you can!

A few words about the use of Certified and Accredited stagers in the staging industry.

 

There are currently no designations such as a Certified or Accredited stager.

Home staging is an unregulated industry. Select your stager based on past work that has done independently. Ask if they staged the homes themselves.

There seems to be a growing number of stagers who claim/display decorating work on their website, business cards and portfolio, which in fact, are stock photographs they have purchased. Start looking at other stagers websites throughout North America and you will see similar or identical photos on their separate sites. ALL THE PHOTOS HERE ARE MY WORK

Last but not least.. The accredited programs that are available out there right now are just getting the program owner rich ! However there are many workshops that can help people turn thier passion into reality!

A staging consultation should cost between 300 dollars to 800 dollars whereas hiring a stager to complete painting, repairs and bring in furnishings and accessories could cost a few thousand.

Certifications

Here are some things to consider when selling.

1.       Home staging is considerably less expensive then a price drop (most agents ask for 5.000 to 10.000) at a time, and we can re decorated in as little as one day!

2.      You never get anything back after a price drop, just less cash in hand!

3.      What we purchase for you, stays with you to move into your new home, it can even yield a greater asking price because your potential buyer wants " all the window coverings included"

4.      Depersonalize! I can't stress this enough. If your selling then remember to unattached yourself, it's no longer your home but a place you're living in until you move on to create more memories.

5.      Purchased items we work with are, drapery, lighting, accessories, greenery, accent pillows, new beddings etc. and furniture placement for a better flow to the general public.

Consultation fees start at 65.00 dollars / hour  ( for real estate agents only ) and 80.00 dollars for outside clients
