Rick Foelsch

Sr. Software Architect for The Long & Foster® Companies.

As the Sr. Software Architect for Long & Foster, Rick Foelsch provides the architectural, coding, and design standards/guidance for all software projects.  In addition, he researches new technologies and works with the Information Services team to provide innovative real estate solutions to Long & Foster and the public.

Rick Foelsch has been with Long & Foster for 12 years; starting out with Property Management Accounts Receivables but moved into Information Services Networking within six months.  After a year in networking he moved over to the software development side of I.S. as Long & Foster's SQL Server Database Administrator/Database Developer.  From 2002 on Rick moved from Data Architect to Software Architect to Senior Software Architect.

Rick is interested in how technology, especially the internet, affects the Real Estate industry; and providing software solutions (including web based solutions) to assist the business of real estate as well as the customer.

Rick's expertise is primarily in software development process and Microsoft technologies such as .NET solutions and Microsoft SQL Server; but recently he's become a user of, and big fan of Apple products - specifically the MacBook Pro using OSX 10.5 and the iPhone.
